Is Lease-On Right for You?
We'd rather tell you the truth than sign you up for the wrong thing. Here's the honest breakdown.
Lease on with us if…
- ✓You own your truck but don't have your own MC authority
- ✓You don't want to buy and manage your own insurance
- ✓You'd rather we handle IFTA, ELD, and DOT compliance
- ✓You want one weekly settlement with everything handled
Keep your own authority if…
- →You already have your own MC authority and insurance
- →You want to keep close to 100% of your gross revenue
- →You'd rather run independent and pay only for what you use
In that case, our regular dispatch service (5–8% commission) costs you far less than 25%. See dispatch pricing →
Don't want to handle IFTA, drug testing, and DOT paperwork yourself? Add our Compliance Package for $99/mo — keep your authority, skip the paperwork.

Common Questions
Should I lease on, or keep my own authority?
Be honest with yourself. If you already have your own MC authority and your own insurance, our regular dispatch service (5–8% commission) is cheaper — you keep close to 100% of your gross and just pay us to find and negotiate loads. Lease-on is for drivers who don't have their own authority, or who don't want to carry the insurance and compliance burden themselves. The 25% only makes sense because it replaces costs you'd otherwise pay out of pocket.
What exactly is the 75/25 split — and what does the 25% pay for?
You keep 75% of the gross revenue from every load. The 25% isn't just a dispatch fee — it covers your operating authority, your liability and cargo insurance (which runs $12,000–$18,000 a year if you buy it yourself), IFTA and fuel-tax filing, drug/ELD/DOT compliance, and full back-office support. There's no separate insurance bill, no authority to maintain, and no compliance paperwork on your plate.
Are there hidden fees or chargebacks?
No. We don't force you to buy our fuel card, our insurance add-ons, or anything else — federal Truth-in-Leasing law (49 CFR 376.12) prohibits that, and we don't do it. Every deduction on your settlement is disclosed up front and itemized line by line, so you can always see exactly what you were charged and why.
Does the insurance cover me all the time?
Our coverage protects you whenever you're running a load under dispatch. When you're driving without a load on (personal or empty miles), you'll want your own low-cost "bobtail" / non-trucking liability policy — usually about $30–$40 a month. We'll point you to it during onboarding so there are no surprises.
Can I still run my own loads?
Yes. While we encourage you to use our dispatch to maximize your earnings, you're never forced to take any load. If you find your own freight, we can still handle the paperwork.
How often do I get paid?
Weekly settlements every Friday. No waiting two weeks or end of month — consistent cash flow every week.
What if I want to leave?
We operate month-to-month with a 30-day notice period. No long-term lock-in, no penalties. If we're not delivering value, you're free to go.
