We're Not the Cheapest. Here's What the Difference Buys.

Somebody will quote you 4%. Before you take it, run the only math that matters: what lands in your pocket after the rate and the fee.

A real dispatch department costs $250,000+ a year in salaries — only 20+ truck fleets can afford one. Everyone else gets a one-man dispatcher splitting his day across 25–30 trucks. We built the third option. Your FF account has five people on it:

Your Dispatcher

Hunts loads, fights every rate. Capped at 5 trucks.

$45–65K/yr to hire
Your Team Lead

A senior dispatcher reviewing every rate and route.

$60–80K/yr to hire
Your Paperwork Agent

Packets, rate cons, BOL/POD — chased for you.

$35–45K/yr to hire
Your Billing Desk

Invoicing, factoring paperwork, payment follow-up.

$40–50K/yr to hire
A COO Over It All

An operations executive accountable for your account.

can't hire a fraction of one
Optional 6th seat
Your Compliance Manager

IFTA filings, DOT & CSA monitoring, audit prep.

+$99/mo — only if you want it

This whole department, for the average owner-operator, costs about $7–9K a year with FF — detention & TONU claims chased commission-free.

One-man shop @ 4%
  • $2.40/mi × 10,000 mi$24,000
  • His fee (4%)–$960
  • Detention chasednobody's chasing it
Take-home$23,040
FF Dispatch @ 6%
  • $2.50/mi × 10,000 mi$25,000
  • Our fee (6%)–$1,500
  • Detention chased free+$300–500
Take-home≈$24,000

We only need to beat his rate by a nickel a mile to cover the whole fee difference. Everything past a nickel is yours. You don't take home a percentage — you take home the rate minus the fee.

Ask any dispatcher these three questions

  1. How many trucks do you personally run?
Our answer: five per dispatcher, hard cap.
  2. Who answers at 2 AM when something goes wrong with my load?
Our answer: the night desk picks up. Every time.
  3. Show me your last five rate confirmations and a detention check you recovered.
Our answer: gladly — we show every rate con anyway.

If the cheaper guy passes all three — hire him. Seriously.

*Rates above are an illustration — on a call we'll run your lanes against our actual rate confirmations. The Compliance Manager is an optional $99/month add-on — never counted as one of the five.

Between lower rates, 15-20 hours/week on admin, and missed detention claims, self-dispatch costs more than most carriers realize. Our 5-8% commission pays for itself before your first delivery.

Pricing FAQs

The 12 most common questions about our pricing.

How do you determine my rate?+
Your rate is based on three factors: equipment type, authority age, and fleet size. Standard trucks (dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only) start at 5%. Box trucks and hotshot start at 6%. New authority (0-6 months) adds +1%, 6-12 months adds +0.5%. Solo operators add +1%, 2-4 truck fleets add +0.5%. Markups stack but are capped at 7% for standard trucks and 8% for specialty. Your exact rate is confirmed during your free consultation.
Can my rate change after I sign up?+
Your rate is locked in. It only changes if you switch equipment types across rate tiers (like moving from a box truck at 6% to a dry van at 5%). Otherwise it stays the same year after year.
What if I have multiple trucks?+
Fleet size affects your rate. Solo operators (1 truck) have a +1% markup on the base rate. 2-4 truck fleets have a +0.5% markup. 5+ truck fleets pay the base rate with no fleet markup at all. For example, a 5-truck dry van fleet with 12+ months authority pays just 5% per truck. Rates are capped at 7% for standard trucks and 8% for specialty, and never go below 5%.
How does your pricing compare to other dispatch services?+
Industry standard is 10-15% with many hidden fees. We start at just 5-6% with zero hidden charges. Even with markups for newer authority or solo operators, you'll never pay more than 7-8%. Most carriers save 3-8% compared to their previous dispatch service while getting better loads and higher rates.
Can I negotiate my rate?+
Our rates are already competitive and transparent. However, we do offer special rates for veterans, lease purchase operators, and carriers who commit to higher weekly load volumes. Ask about our loyalty programs.
What are the Launch Packages?+
Three options for three stages of your journey. Get Dispatched (FREE) is for carriers already on the road with an LLC, active MC, and insurance — we assign you a dedicated dispatcher, set up your carrier packet, distribute it to 500+ brokers, get your first load in 24-48 hours, help with factoring setup, and review your insurance for coverage gaps. You get a free $100/hr onboarding strategy call, then our standard 5-8% commission. Standard Launch ($1,500) is for carriers with a business formed but no MC authority — we handle MC/DOT filing ($300 FMCSA fee included), BOC-3, UCR, insurance setup during your 21-day waiting period, drug & alcohol consortium, Clearinghouse registration, New Entrant Audit prep, IRP/plates guidance, IFTA setup plus first year filing, 30 days of daily dispatcher check-in calls, load board training, broker introductions to our 500+ network, and factoring setup. Premium Launch ($2,500) is for aspiring owner-operators starting from zero — everything in Standard, plus LLC or Corp formation, EIN application, operating agreement template, business bank account guidance, and registered agent setup. FMCSA filing fees included. Insurance, IRP, and HVUT are separate costs.
What is Mona AI?+
Mona is like having a dispatcher available at 3 AM. She answers quick questions, looks up rate confirmations, checks document status, and schedules appointments. Your real dispatcher still handles the important stuff — negotiating with brokers, fighting for detention pay, building relationships. AI + humans = better service. Mona is currently in Beta — try her right now through the live chat on this page. The full version, along with the carrier dashboard, rolls out to every carrier in Q3 2026.
Are there any other fees besides the commission?+
No. Our commission (5-8%) is the only fee you pay for core dispatch services. Optional add-ons like IFTA reporting ($75-150/quarter), the Compliance Package ($99/month), or company formation services are completely optional and clearly priced separately.
Do you require a contract?+
No contracts. Just a simple agreement. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. No penalties, no surprises. If we're not earning higher rates than you could on your own, you leave.
Is there a setup fee or onboarding charge?+
If you already have your LLC, active MC, and insurance, onboarding is completely free — we set up your carrier packet, connect you with 500+ brokers, and get you your first load within 24-48 hours. If you have a business formed but need MC authority, our Standard Launch ($1,500) handles authority filing, compliance setup, and everything to get you rolling. Starting from zero? The Premium Launch ($2,500) covers LLC formation, authority filing, and all the compliance steps from scratch. Our ongoing dispatch commission (5-8%) is the only recurring fee — we only earn when you earn.
Someone quoted me 4%. Why should I pay 5-8%?+
Do the take-home math, not the percentage math. On 10,000 miles a month, a solo dispatcher at 4% who gets you $2.40/mile leaves you $23,040 after his fee. FF at 6% getting $2.50/mile leaves you $23,500 — plus our team chases your detention and TONU commission-free (most carriers see $300-500/month they weren't collecting). We only need to beat his rate by about a nickel a mile to cover the entire fee difference. The reason we usually do: a 4% dispatcher is one person splitting his day across 25-30 trucks, while your FF account has five people on it — a dispatcher capped at 5 trucks, a team lead reviewing every rate, a paperwork agent, a billing department, and a COO. Ask any cheaper dispatcher three questions: how many trucks do you personally run, who answers at 2 AM, and can you show me your last five rate confirmations. If they pass, hire them.
Do you help with insurance?+
Yes! We review your existing coverage for gaps and help you shop for better rates. We'll compare quotes from trusted trucking insurance brokers, make sure you meet broker requirements (most want $1M liability, not just the $750K FMCSA minimum), and identify missing coverage like cargo or bobtail. For new authority carriers in our Standard or Premium Launch packages, we handle insurance setup during the 21-day waiting period. Completely free — no markup, no referral fees.
What does the Compliance Package include?+
For $99/month, the Compliance Package covers quarterly IFTA filing, DOT compliance monitoring, CSA score tracking and alerts, drug & alcohol testing coordination, HOS violation alerts, and annual audit preparation. It keeps you safe, compliant, and audit-ready.
“They've been helping the company off the ground from the day Plus One was introduced.”
